s 17 Production of books, accounts and documents of licensed housing developer
17.—(1) For the purposes of an investigation under sections 14, 15 and 16, a licensed housing developer must give the Controller or an inspector access to its books, accounts and documents and must give any information and facilities that may be required to conduct the investigation. (2) Any licensed housing developer that does not, as is required under subsection (1), give the Controller or an inspector access to its books, accounts and documents or give any information and facilities that may be required to conduct an investigation shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $5,000 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.[15/2013]
