s 63 Recovery of fees and other expenses incidental to prosecution
63.—(1) When any person is convicted of an offence under this Act, the court may order that person to pay the following costs and expenses:(a) all expenses incidental to the analysis of any health product or active ingredient in respect of which the conviction is obtained; (b) the cost of the purchase of any sample of the health product or active ingredient for analysis; and (c) any other reasonable expenses incurred by the prosecution. (2) If the amount of the costs and expenses is not paid by the person liable to pay those costs and expenses within 14 days after demand, that amount may be reported to a Magistrate’s Court and recovered in the same manner as if it were a fine imposed by a Magistrate’s Court.
