s 90 Holding out as registered insurance broker
90.—(1) A person must not hold himself, herself or itself out to be registered as a direct insurance broker, general reinsurance broker or life reinsurance broker unless the person is registered under this Act as such.[23/2003] (2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $5,000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.[35ZL
