s 57 Police officer or Health Officer may demand names and addresses in certain cases
57. —(1) Any person who is required by any police officer, or by any Health Officer authorised in that behalf by the Director‑General of Public Health, the Director‑General, Food Administration or the Director-General of Health, must on demand give the person’s name and address and other proof of identity to the police officer or Health Officer, as the case may be. [11/2019] [Act 11 of 2023 wef 01/05/2023] (2) The occupier of any premises must, if required by any police officer or by a Health Officer authorised in that behalf by the Director‑General of Public Health, the Director‑General, Food Administration or the Director-General of Health, give the occupier’s name and address and other proof of identity and the name and address of the owner of the premises, if known.
