s 28 Member of panel and proceedings deemed to be public servant and judicial proceedings respectively
28.—(1) Every member of the panel, when and so long as he or she is serving on the Board, is deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code 1871 and enjoys the same judicial immunity as is enjoyed by a Supreme Court Judge.[40/2019]
(2) All proceedings in appeals to the Board under this Act are deemed to be judicial proceedings within the meaning of the Penal Code 1871.
