s 2A Appointment of Director of Legal Services
2A.—(1) The Minister may appoint a Director of Legal Services —(a) to administer Parts 4A and 9A; and (b) to perform such other functions and duties as the Minister may assign to the Director of Legal Services.[40/2014] [Act 5 of 2025 wef 09/03/2025] (1A) An appointment under subsection (1), and an assignment under subsection (1)(b), must be published in the Gazette.[Act 5 of 2025 wef 09/03/2025] (2) The functions, duties and powers of the Director of Legal Services under this Act may be performed, discharged and exercised by any public officer who is authorised by the Director of Legal Services to do so.[40/2014]
