3.—(1) A body called the Singapore Institute of Legal Education is established.[8/2011]
(2) The Institute is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and with powers subject to the provisions of this Act —(a)
to sue and be sued in its corporate name;
(b)
to acquire and dispose of property, both movable and immovable; and
(c)
to do and perform any other acts that bodies corporate may by law perform.[8/2011]
