s 39 Membership
39. The membership of the Society consists of the following:(a)
all advocates and solicitors who are members of the Society by reason of section 40;
(b)
all foreign lawyers who —(i)
are members of the Society by reason of section 40A(1); or
(ii)
are admitted to membership of the Society under section 40A(2);
(ba)
all lawyers (NP) who are members of the Society by reason of section 40B;[Act 37 of 2023 wef 17/04/2025]
(c)
all persons who are admitted to membership of the Society under section 41; and
(d)
all persons who are elected as honorary members under section 42.[40/2014]
