s 40 Proceedings conducted by officers of Authority
40. —(1) Proceedings in respect of any offence under this Act or any written law specified in the Fifth Schedule, or any subsidiary legislation made under this Act or any such written law, may, with the authorisation of the Public Prosecutor, be conducted by an officer of the Authority who is authorised by the Authority to conduct such proceedings. [15/2010; 3/2017; 20/2019] (2) The Minister may, by order in the Gazette , amend the Fifth Schedule. —(1) Proceedings in respect of any offence under this Act or any written law specified in the Fifth Schedule, or any subsidiary legislation made under this Act or any such written law, may, with the authorisation of the Public Prosecutor, be conducted by an officer of the Authority who is authorised by the Authority to conduct such proceedings.
