16.—(1) A certificate purporting —(a) to be signed by —(i) an analyst employed by the Health Sciences Authority or the Home Team Science and Technology Agency; or[Act 12 of 2023 wef 01/06/2024] (ii) such other person as the Minister may appoint; and[Act 5 of 2025 wef 09/03/2025] (b) to relate to a controlled drug, controlled substance or psychoactive substance, is to be admitted in evidence, in any proceedings for an offence under this Act, on its production by the prosecution without proof of signature and, until the contrary is proved, is proof of all matters contained therein.
