Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008 s 11

s 11 Prohibition

11. A medical practitioner who —(a) is the husband, wife, father, father‑in‑law, mother, mother‑in‑law, son, son‑in‑law, daughter, daughter‑in‑law, brother, brother‑in‑law, sister or sister‑in‑law of the patient; (b) stands in a fiduciary relationship to the patient; or (c) is treating the patient, must not sign any order under this Act.
