45.—(1) Despite the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, a District Court has jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act and has power to impose the full punishment for the offence. (2) If an offence under Part 6 is committed outside Singapore, the offence may be tried as if it had been committed in Singapore.
