s 76 Drunkenness, etc., on board ship
76. If a seaman employed on a ship is, while on board the ship, under the influence of drink, a drug or a psychoactive substance to such an extent that his or her capacity to fulfil his or her responsibility for the ship or to carry out his or her duties is impaired, the seaman shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000.[Act 12 of 2023 wef 01/06/2024]
