s 48 Pending disciplinary proceedings
48.—(1) This Act and the regulations made under this Act do not apply to any proceedings of a disciplinary nature commenced before 1 May 2000, and the repealed Act and the previous Regulations continue to apply to those proceedings. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the previous Board continues to exist to complete its hearing of those proceedings and make such order or decision as it could have made under the repealed Act and the previous Regulations. (3) Any order or decision made by the previous Board under subsection (2) is to be treated as an order or decision of the Board and has the same force and effect as if it had been made by the Board under section 19.
