s 5 Establishment of register
5. —(1) The Commissioner must cause to be kept and maintained a register of all persons in Singapore who are registered or required to be registered under this Act. [32/2016] (2) The register is to be in the form that the Commissioner thinks fit, and must contain — ( a ) the name and sex of every person registered or required to be registered under this Act; and [Act 17 of 2021 wef 29/05/2022] ( b ) any other particulars of that person that the Commissioner considers necessary. [32/2016] (3) A copy of or extract from any document, including a copy produced by way of microfilm or computer print-out, filed or lodged at the office of the Commissioner, certified to be a true copy or an extract under the hand and seal of the Commissioner is in any proceedings admissible in evidence as of equal validity with the original document.
