Protection from Harassment Act 2014 s 21

s 21 Exemptions

21.—(1) The following orders must not be made in respect of any class of persons, as prescribed under subsection (2):(a) a protection order made under section 12(2) that provides any thing under section 12(2B)(b), or an expedited protection order made under section 13(1) that so provides; (b) a protection order made under section 12(2E), or an expedited protection order made under section 13(1B); (ba) a protection order made under section 12(2F), or an expedited protection order made under section 13(1C); (bb) a protection order made under section 12(2G), or an expedited protection order made under section 13(1D);[Act 23 of 2025 wef 29/06/2026] (c) any order made under Division 2 of Part 3.[17/2019] (2) The Minister may, by order in the Gazette, prescribe the classes of persons, and the orders in respect of each class of persons so prescribed, to which subsection (1) applies.[17/2019] (3) Every order made under subsection (2) must be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.
