s 3 Administration of this Act
3.—(1) The Authority is responsible for the general administration of this Act. (2) The Authority must appoint one of its officers as the Superintendent of Car Parks who must carry out the duties assigned to the Superintendent of Car Parks by the Authority under this Act and any rules made under this Act. (3) The Authority may appoint public officers and officers employed by other statutory bodies as Deputy Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents of Car Parks for the purposes of this Act. (4) The Authority may —(a) in relation to any provision in this Act, appoint any of its officers or employees to be an enforcement officer for the purposes of that provision, either generally or in a particular case; and (b) delegate to any enforcement officer the exercise of all or any of the powers conferred or duties imposed upon the Authority by any provision in this Act (except the power of delegation conferred by this subsection), subject to such conditions or limitations as the Authority may specify; and any reference in that provision to the Authority includes a reference to such an enforcement officer.[24/2018; 8/2020]
