s 6 Penalty
6.—(1) Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with the provisions of this Act (except section 5(2)) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.[26/2018]
(2) Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with section 5(2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.[26/2018]
