s 284A Authority may disapply this Division to certain offers and invitations
284A. Despite any provision to the contrary in this Division, where —(a)
an offer of units in a collective investment scheme is one to which (but for this section) both this Division and Division 1 apply; and
(b)
the Authority has by order in the Gazette declared that this Division does not apply to that offer or a class of offers to which that offer belongs,
then this Division (other than section 283A) does not apply to that offer.
