s 4 Purposes of Act

4. The purposes of this Act are to regulate the operation of licensable SRHs, so as to ensure —(a) the safety, welfare and wellbeing of residents of the licensable SRHs; and (b) continuity of the provision of —(i) residential accommodation; and (ii) care, biopsychosocial intervention or support to carry out daily activities, to residents of the licensable SRHs.
