s 29N Security deposit against contraventions by cruise terminal licensee
29N.—(1) The Controller may, by written direction to a cruise terminal licensee, require the licensee to provide or further provide a performance bond, guarantee or other form of security on the terms and conditions determined by the Controller, of such amount and within such time as the Controller thinks appropriate. (2) The Controller may use the security to meet the whole or any part of any financial penalty imposed on the cruise terminal licensee that is unpaid. (3) The use of the security mentioned in subsection (2) does not affect the taking of proceedings against any person for any contravention under this Part or any regulations made for the purposes of this Part.[Act 28 of 2022 wef 01/04/2023]
