Article 1

Prices of fresh or chilled sheep carcases on the representative Community markets shall be established on the basis of the prices recorded on the representative market or markets of each quotation area, as defined in Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EEC) No 3013/89, for the various categories of fresh or chilled sheep carcases. The provisions set out in Article 22 (3) of that Regulation shall apply.

Article 2

For the purpose of determination of fresh or chilled sheep carcase prices in accordance with Article 1 the provisions set out in Regulation (EEC) No 1481/86 shall be applicable.

Article 3

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

It shall be applicable until the measures adopted by the Council in application of Article 4 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No 3013/89 become applicable.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
