The aid for producers and/or exporters of mushrooms granted by the Market Development Fund, c/o An Bord TrΓ‘chtΓ‘la (The Irish Trade Board), is illegal. Such aid is, moreover, incompatible with the common market within the meaning of Article 92 of the EC Treaty.
Ireland is hereby required to cancel the aid referred to in Article 1 and to recover the sums paid out, within two months from the notification of this Decision. This recovery shall be carried out in accordance with the procedures and provisions of national legislation and in particular in accordance with those concerning interest payable on overdue sums owed to the State. The amounts to be recovered shall bear interest from the date on which the aid in question was granted.
Ireland shall inform the Commission, within two months from the notification of this Decision, about the measures that it has taken to comply with Article 2.
