The Agreement on fisheries relations between the European Community and the Republic of Lithuania and the Protocol laying down the conditions relating to temporary joint ventures and joint enterprises provided for in the Agreement are hereby approved on behalf of the Community. The texts of the Agreement and the Protocol are attached to this Regulation.
The President of the Council is hereby authorized to designate the persons authorized to sign the Agreement and the Protocol in order to bind the Community.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirely and directly applicable in all Member States. Done at Brussels, 2 December 1996. For the Council The President E. FITZGERALD
