Article 1

The measure which Germany is planning to implement for Neue Maxhütte Stahlwerke GmbH i.K. to the amount of DEM 2911274 (EUR 1488190) does not constitute aid within the meaning of Article 4(c) of the ECSC Treaty.

Implementation of the measure is therefore authorised.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Federal Republic of Germany.
