2000/427/EC: Council Decision of 19 June 2000 in accordance with Article 122(2) of the Treaty on the adoption by Greece of the single currency on 1 January 2001

Article 1

Greece fulfils the necessary conditions for the adoption of the single currency. The derogation in favour of Greece laid down in recital 4 of Decision 98/317/EC shall be abrogated with effect from 1 January 2001.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Member States.
