The Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Cyprus establishing cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises within the framework of the third multiannual programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the European Union (1997 to 2000) is hereby approved on behalf of the European Community. The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.
The Commission shall represent the Community in the Joint Committee provided for in Article 6 of the Agreement.
The President of the Council is hereby authorised to appoint the person(s) empowered to sign the Agreement in order to bind the Community.
The President of the Council shall, on behalf of the Community, give the notification provided for in Article 13 of the Agreement. Done at Brussels, 20 July 2000. For the Council The President F.
