The State aid which Italy is planning to implement in accordance with Article 14 of the Sardinia Regional Law of 4 February 1998 laying down rules for speeding up expenditure of EAGGF Guidance Section funds and on urgent measures for agriculture in order to compensate for losses caused by past adverse climatic events is incompatible with the common market. The aid may accordingly not be implemented.
Within two months of notification of this Decision Italy shall inform the Commission of the measures taken to comply with it.
