The State aid which Spain plans to grant Renault España SA in Valladolid - a nominal EUR 22333832 (equivalent to a present value of EUR 18366569, taking 1999 as the base year and assuming a discount rate of 4,72 %) - for an eligible investment of EUR 149441660 (present value: EUR 128724990), is compatible with the common market within the meaning of Article 87(3)(a) of the Treaty. The aid may therefore be granted.
