2003/171/EC: Council Decision of 27 February 2003 amending Decision 2000/265/EC on the establishment of a financial regulation governing the budgetary aspects of the management by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council, of contracts concluded in his name, on behalf of certain Member States, relating to the installation and the functioning of the communication infrastructure for the Schengen environment, "Sisnet"

Article 1

Article 14 of Decision 2000/265/EC shall be replaced by the following:

"Article 14

The task of financial controller shall be carried out by an official or servant of the General Secretariat of the Council appointed to that end by decision of the Deputy Secretary-General, who shall define the terms of this control."

Article 2

1. This Decision shall apply from 1 January 2003.

2. This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
