2003/507/EC: Council Decision of 13 June 2003 on the accession of the European Community, to the Protocol to the 1979 Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution to Abate Acidification, Eutrophication and Ground-Level Ozone

Article 1

The accession of the Community to the Protocol to the 1979 Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution to Abate Acidification, Eutrophication and Ground-level Ozone is hereby approved on behalf of the Community.

The text of the Protocol is contained in the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to deposit the instrument of accession with the Secretary General of the United Nations, in accordance with Article 16 of the Protocol.

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
