Financial contribution from the Union to Germany, Italy and the Netherlands

1. A financial contribution from the Union shall be granted to Germany, Italy and the Netherlands towards the costs incurred by these Member States in taking measures pursuant to Article 4(2) and (3) of Decision 2009/470/EC, to combat avian influenza in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands in 2011. 2. The amount of the financial contribution mentioned in paragraph 1 shall be fixed in a subsequent decision to be adopted in accordance with the procedure established in Article 40(2) of Decision 2009/470/EC.
