2012/429/EU: Council Decision of 24 July 2012 on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and the Government of the Russian Federation on trade in parts and components of motor vehicles between the European Union and the Russian Federation

Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and the Government of the Russian Federation on trade in parts and components of motor vehicles between the European Union and the Russian Federation, is hereby approved on behalf of the Union  ( 2 ) .

Article 2

The President of the Council shall designate the person(s) empowered to proceed, on behalf of the Union, to make the notification provided for in Article 13(2) of the Agreement in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement  ( 3 ) .

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
