The envisaged national provisions intended to lower the content of cadmium allowed in phosphorous fertilisers from the current maximum level of 100 grams of cadmium per tonne of phosphorus to a level of 46 grams, which the Kingdom of Sweden notified to the Commission on 17 October 2011, are rejected.
