2013/296/EU: Council Decision of 13 May 2013 on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova amending the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Moldova on the facilitation of the issuance of visas

Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova amending the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Moldova on the facilitation of the issuance of visas is hereby approved on behalf of the Union.

The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council shall designate the person empowered to proceed, on behalf of the European Union, to the notification provided for in Article 2 of the Agreement, in order to express the consent of the European Union to be bound by the Agreement  ( 4 ) .

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.
