The signing on behalf of the European Union of the Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism (CETS No 196), as regards matters falling within the competence of the Union is hereby authorised, subject to the conclusion thereofΒ ( 2 ) .
The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to sign the Convention on behalf of the European Union.
This Decision shall enter into force upon its adoption. It shall apply in accordance with the Treaties.
