The reference of standard EN 795:2012 ‘Personal fall protection equipment — Anchor devices’ shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union with restriction as set out in the Annex.

Accordingly, in respect of the equipment mentioned above, there shall be no presumption of conformity with the provisions of Directive 89/686/EEC because they are not considered to be PPE. Note: Generally the date of cessation of presumption of conformity will be the date of withdrawal ('dow'), set by the European standardisation organisation, but attention of users of these standards is drawn to the fact that in certain exceptional cases this can be otherwise.
