Open ↗1. Member States shall adopt and publish, by 31 December 2018 at the latest, the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive. They shall forthwith communicate to the Commission the text of those provisions. They shall apply those provisions from 1 January 2019. When Member States adopt those provisions, they shall contain a reference to this Directive or be accompanied by such a reference on the occasion of their official publication. Member States shall determine how such reference is to be made. 2. Member States shall immediately communicate to the Commission the text of the main provisions of national law which they adopt in the field covered by this Directive.

Open ↗This Directive shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

Open ↗ANNEX In point 2 of the Annex to Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2109, amending Annex III to Council Directive 66/401/EEC, in the first column of the table, the entry for ‘ Poaceae (Gramineae) ’ is replaced by the following entry with accompanying footnote: ‘ Poaceae (Gramineae) ( 1 ) ( 1 ) The maximum lot weight may be increased to 25 tonnes if the supplier has been authorised for this purpose by the competent authority.’ ’
