Article 1

The Protocol amending the Agreement on maritime transport between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the government of the People's Republic of China, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union is hereby approved on behalf of the Union and of the Member States. The text of the Protocol is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council shall give, on behalf of the Union and of the Member States, the notification provided for in Article 3 of the Protocol ( 4 ) .

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
