Council Decision (EU) 2019/1581 of 16 September 2019 on the submission, on behalf of the European Union, of proposals to amend Appendices I and II to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) with a view to the thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties

Article 1

1.   With a view to the thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals, the Union shall submit the following proposals:

(a)

amend Appendix I to the Convention to include the species Tetrax tetrax ;

(b)

amend Appendix II to the Convention to include the species Tetrax tetrax , Galeorhinus galeus and Sphyrna zygaena .

2.   The Commission, on behalf of the Union, shall communicate the proposals referred to in paragraph 1 to the Secretariat of the Convention.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
