The period to which it relates is 15 minutes, unless otherwise specified. ( 6 ) mg/m 3 : milligrams per cubic metre of air. For chemicals in gas or vapour phase, the limit value is expressed at 20 °C and 101,3 kPa. ( 7 ) ppm: parts per million by volume in air (ml/m 3 ). ( 8 ) During exposure monitoring, account should be taken of relevant biological monitoring values as suggested by the Scientific Committee on Occupational Exposure Limits for Chemicals Agents (SCOEL).
