Amendment to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011

Open ↗In Part A of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011, row 149, on dimethoate, is deleted.
Transitional measures
Article 3
Open ↗Member States shall withdraw authorisations for plant protection products containing dimethoate as active substance by 17 January 2020 at the latest.
Grace period
Article 4
Open ↗Any grace period granted by Member States in accordance with Article 46 of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 shall be as short as possible and shall expire by 17 October 2019 for plant protection products used on cherries and by 17 July 2020 for plant protection products used on other crops, at the latest.
Entry into force
Article 5
Open ↗This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
