1. The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf within the Joint Implementation Committee established pursuant to Article 18 of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on forest law enforcement, governance and trade shall be to support the adoption of the rules of procedure of the JIC ( 2 ) .
2. Minor non-substantive changes to the draft rules of procedure may be agreed to, in the light of developments at the upcoming JIC meeting, by representatives of the Union, in consultation with Member States, during on-the-spot coordination meetings, without a further decision of the Council.
