Article 1
The Framework Agreement between the European Union and the United Nations for the Provision of Mutual Support in the context of their respective missions and operations in the field is hereby approved on behalf of the UnionΒ ( 1 ) .

Article 2
The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to sign the Framework Agreement in order to bind the Union.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
