Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

ANNEX In Part E of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008, in food category 05.2 ‘Other confectionery including breath refreshening microsweets’, the following entry is inserted after entry for Group IV ‘Polyols’ authorised with the restriction ‘only for crystallised fruit, energy-reduced or with no added sugar’: ‘Group IV Polyols quantum satis only hard candies and lollies, chewy candies, fruit gums and foam sugar products/marshmallows, liquorice, nougat, marzipan, breath freshening micro-sweets and strongly flavoured freshening throat pastilles, energy-reduced or with no added sugar’
