Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2065 is amended as follows: (1) in Article 3, paragraph 1 is replaced by the following: ‘1.   The exemption from the landing obligation pursuant to point (b) of Article 15(4) of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 for species for which scientific evidence demonstrates high survival rates shall apply until 31 December 2024 to turbot ( Scophthalmus maximus ) caught with bottom-set gillnets (GNS) in the Black Sea.’; (2) in Article 3, paragraph 3 is deleted; (3) in Article 4, the second sentence is replaced by the following: ‘It shall apply from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024.’.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 January 2023.
