Article 1

1.   With a view to the fourteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals, the Union shall submit a proposal for an amendment to Appendix I to the Convention to include the Baltic Proper harbour porpoise, Phocoena phocoena (only the Baltic Proper population). 2.   The Commission, on behalf of the Union, shall communicate the proposal referred to in paragraph 1 to the Secretariat of the Convention.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
