Article 1

1.   The Commission is hereby authorised to open negotiations on amending the Arrangements between the European Union, on the one part, and, respectively, the Republic of Iceland, the Kingdom of Norway, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein, on the other part, as regards the modalities of the participation by those countries in the EASO, in order for them to be able to participate in the EUAA. 2.   The negotiations shall be conducted on the basis of the negotiating directives of the Council set out in the addendum to this Decision.

Article 2

The negotiations shall be conducted in consultation with the Justice and Home Affairs Counsellors, who are the preparatory body hereby designated as the special committee within the meaning of Article 218(4) TFEU.

Article 3

This Decision is addressed to the Commission.
