Article 1

Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

HESA is a subsidiary of the Iran Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO), a state-owned enterprise subordinate to the Iranian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL). UAVs produced by HESA in Iran are used by the Russian Federation in the war of aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, HESA is responsible for supporting materially actions, which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. 30.1.2023’
