Article 1

In the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/996, the second row referring to the category and functional group, the phrase “Category of zootechnical additives. Functional group: other zootechnical additives (improvement of zootechnical parameters)” is replaced by “Category of zootechnical additives. Functional group: other zootechnical additives (improvement of performance parameters)”.

Article 2

1.   The preparation specified in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/996 and premixtures containing that preparation, which are produced and labelled before 17 December 2023 in accordance with the rules applicable before 17 June 2023, may continue to be placed on the market and used until the existing stocks are exhausted.

2.   Compound feed and feed materials containing the preparation specified in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/996, which are produced and labelled before 17 June 2024 in accordance with the rules applicable before 17 June 2023, may continue to be placed on the market and used until the existing stocks are exhausted if they are intended for chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying and minor poultry species reared for laying.

Article 3

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
